Das BLACKSTAR AIRWIRE i58 High Integrity Wireless Instrument System ermöglicht eine drahtlose Verbindung für Gitarren, Bässe und viele andere Musikinstrumente mit 1/4"-Audioausgängen. Das System arbeitet im 5,8-GHz-Bereich, einem weniger überfüllten Frequenzband, das nicht durch nahegelegene Wi-Fi-Signale beeinträchtigt wird. Die extrem kurze Latenzzeit und der präzise Frequenzgang sorgen für einen authentischen Klang und ein authentisches Spielgefühl, ohne durch Kabel eingeschränkt zu sein. Bis zu vier AIRWIRE i58-Sets können gleichzeitig verwendet werden, ohne dass es zu Interferenzen kommt - perfekt für eine komplette Band. Es bietet eine kabellose, hochauflösende Signalübertragung, so dass es keine Höhenverluste gibt, wie diese bei der Verwendung eines langen Kabels auftreten können. Das System bietet zudem jedoch eine schaltbare CABLE TONE-Funktion, um die klanglichen Effekte eines herkömmlichen Instrumentenkabels zu simulieren.
